Hello there, my diabetes soldiers! I want to show you something that you can’t afford to miss in your lifetime. First of all, let me remind all of us that controlling diabetes is a challenging job; however, did you know that there are some foods taken daily that can assist in reversing this condition?

Well, maybe that is enough and adding these three simple foods into your diet will help you to come off the cycle of insulin injections and prescription pills. Necessary to state the above claim sounds too good to be true?

Food # 3 – Berries

Hello again, boys and girls; now it is time to discuss those small but mighty fruits – berries! These little guys deliver one of the most powerful impacts, thus worrying about reversing diabetes– and you wouldn’t mind, right? Eat them every day.

I mean it! Not only do they contribute towards the cause of type two diabetes in that they do not rise high on the glycaemic index, but they also assist in maintaining high blood pressure; the saying could well be a day without an apple is a day without a doctor.

Well, maybe not to that extent, but still…Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries – all delicious and great for regulating blood sugar levels – and therefore fresh fruits are not only good for diabetics too, but a part of any diabetic meal plan!

Food # 2 – Cruciferous Vegetables

If you thought magic pill or wand from the Wizard was the only way of reversing diabetes, then think again because it seems like cruciferous vegetables might just be superheroes among other superfoods against this disease.

They don’t wear capes, but trust me, they have power, alright! And if by now you haven’t started munching those greens every single day, then please change that habit ASAP. Green leafy veggies such as spinach, kale etcetera work wonders on people suffering from type two diabetes; they reduce risk factors associated with heart diseases besides improving insulin sensitivity too.

We don’t mean dressing up as broccoli (although that would actually be pretty cool), but it’s time to make cruciferous vegetables your best friend in the war against diabetes.

Food # 3 - Nuts

If someone told you eating nuts could help reverse diabetes, you’d probably think they were nuts – pun intended. But as it turns out, nuts — specifically almonds and peanuts — are no joke when it comes to fighting diabetes. The little powerhouses of crunchiness are packed with healthy fats, fiber and protein that can keep your blood sugar stable and improve insulin sensitivity.

So, if you don’t want your blood sugar going nuts on you, go ahead and grab a handful of almonds or peanuts for a snack! Another good source of healthy fats is fatty fish, which pairs well with nuts in a diet for diabetes because it helps control blood sugar levels, too. I mean, really, though, who said being healthy had to be nutty?

Alright, folks, some of you are saying I’ve done all that, and I still have diabetes… Well, let’s face it: we can’t reverse aging (or the declining retirement income that may come with it). But there is one thing we can reverse – diabetes!

You would be amazed how much impact just being mindful about what goes into our mouths has, avoiding added sugars whenever possible & focusing on weight loss if needed… With a little bit of humor, a dash of wit & playful attitude, we can take control back over our lives- after all, life is like blackjack. Sometimes tough hands get dealt, but it's not about the cards you’re given. It's how well u play them, right?

So let's make our lives meaningful despite whatever hand we've been dealt because, at the end day, everyone deserves a chance at happiness, so keep going. Never give up. Don't let anybody tell you you can't live your life. Keep thriving, keep being alive, and keep doing what makes us feel most alive because isn’t that really all there is to it anyway? No dream is too big.

No goal is too lofty for anyone willing to work hard enough to reach heights otherwise unimaginable even by those closest to them, so keep dreaming, reaching higher than ever before until one day they realize there are no limits from the start. Reversing diabetes isn’t just possible – it's already happening every day with diets including berries, leafy greens & nuts.
